Présentée officiellement en 1984 lors du salon de l'automobile de Bruxelles , cette 900 constituait alors , un prototype des plus excitant . Rendez vous compte : une nouvelle SAAB 900 au look trés racé grâce à son kit appelé "Aéro" en Europe et SPG aux US , un moteur turbo de 3ème génération affichant un couple insolent de 275 Nm pour 175 Chevaux permettant d'abattre le 0-100 km/h en 8,7 secondes !! Et puis de nouvelles jantes de 15'' , trois branches que l'on retrouvera de série sur toutes les "Aéro" jusqu'en 1991 .L'interieur se veut cossu : cuir rouge colorado .

Le tout sous une peinture exclusive "Mother of pearl" , histoire de ne pas confondre les 29 exemplaires produits alors , avec le restant de la production qui verra les ventes de la 900 Turbo exploser grâce à ce nouveau look ravageur !!

Officially presented in Brussels in 1984 at the Motor Show , this prototype of the 900 of the future , is the beginning of a success story for Saab thanks to a new design powered by a new kit called "Aero" in Europe and "SPG" in the USA .But also new 15" rims and a magnificent interior made of red leather called "Colorado red" .

It is also a new pleasure of driving that suggests Saab with this prototype : 175 Hp , a strong torque 275 Nm and 0-60 Mph in 8,7 seconds !! The third generation of Saab Turbo is born .

So if one day , you have the opportunity to get one , consider it as a privilege because it's one the 29 unities produced which you can't mix with another thanks to this exclusive paint called "Mother of Pearl " .
